Russian President Vladimir Putin on Saturday, September 24, signed a decree “On granting a deferment from conscription for military mobilization service. The document grants respite to some students. It is published on the Kremlin website.

2. on educational programs of secondary vocational and higher education with state accreditation;

What if the student is studying at a private university?
Based on the presidential decree, students of private Russian universities can be called up as part of a partial mobilization.
