Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region Evgeny Kuyvashev appointed a new representative of the regional government in the Federation Council. He announced this on Telegram, attaching a photo of the decree he signed.
“Today I appointed Viktor Shepty, deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Sverdlovsk Region, as my representative in the Federation Council. The decree has already been signed,— the message says.
The head of the region also expressed confidence that the new representative of the region will successfully cope with his duties.
Viktor Shepty, prior to his appointment as a senator, served as deputy chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Sverdlovsk Region, a member of the United Russia party; and deputy regional branch of the party.
He was born in 1965, received a working specialty at the Sverdlovsk Mining and Metallurgical College.
