Rector of RANEPA Mau pleaded not guilty to fraud

Rector of the RANEPA Vladimir Mau, who is accused in the case of fraud on an especially large scale, has not pleaded guilty, TASS reports.

At the same time, according to the source of the agency , Mau cooperates with the investigation and gives detailed testimony.

Earlier, the Tverskoy Court of Moscow sent the rector of the RANEPA Vladimir Mau under house arrest. He is involved in a case of fraud on an especially large scale, previously initiated against the former Deputy Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Marina Rakova. Vladimir Mau is accused of embezzling 21 million rubles.

The day before it became known that the former Deputy Head of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation Marina Rakova pleaded guilty in the case of fraud and asked the court for house arrest. However, in this petition she was denied.
