Google explained the reason for deleting Puchkov’s YouTube channel
Google explained that the reason for removing the YouTube channel of the Russian blogger Goblin (Dmitry Puchkov) was a violation of the company's policy on inciting hatred, the RBC Telegram channel reported.
It is clarified that Google has removed content from Puchkov’s channel, which, as the company noted, “denies, downplays or trivializes well-documented events of violence,” including military actions in Ukraine. After that, the blogger was given a warning (strike).
“It was the channel's third strike in 90 days, so in accordance with our policy of three warnings, Dmitry Puchkov's channel was deleted”, — quotes “RBC” a message from Google.
On Thursday evening, the blogger himself informed about the deletion of the channel by posting a screenshot in his Telegram channel with a notification from the administration of the service, which spoke of a violation of the YouTube community rules.
Later, Puchkov said that “everyone who does not support the Ukrainian Nazis” is being removed from the Internet site, and Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev promised to “take revenge” on for what happened.
