Police checks Russian stand-up comedian Danila Poperechnyto discredit the Russian army. This is reported by the Baza Telegram channel and REN-TV. According to them, the check began after the statement of a certain Maxim Vasiliev. The latter wrote that Poperechny “has a bad attitude towards the special operation” and posts “dangerous posts” on Instagram* (owned by Meta, which is recognized as extremist in the Russian Federation and banned).

The comedian, in turn, stated on his social networks that he was in Russia and “did not discredit the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in any way”, and at the end of his speech he suggested checking the video where he dances with dog.
What is known about Danil Poperechny?
Perechny was born on March 10, 1994 in Voronezh. As a teenager, he and his mother moved to Kyiv. They lived there for six years, where the future blogger received a secondary general education. Then the guy entered the Polish University of Informatics and Management in Geneva. But two years later he dropped out. At the age of 16, the young man worked part-time at the game development company GSC Game World, becoming a beta tester for S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky.
Comedian's creative activity
Poperechny began his career by publishing his humorous animated compositions on YouTube under the pseudonym Spoontamer. After that, he posted videos in the format of a sketch show on his YouTube channel. In parallel, the humorist worked at other sites and collaborated with bloggers Eldar Dzharakhov, Katya Klep and Ruslan Usachev.
It is also known that Poperechny worked as a cartoonist for some time on the portal “Thank you, Eva!”. But he left soon after. The blogger took part in the launch of the Let's Lime school of video makers.
In 2011, he published videos from the Level up series, in which he reflected aloud on topics of interest to him. Two years later, Transverse hit the stand-up comedy genre, which brought him popularity. The number of his subscribers began to grow and exceeded 10 thousand.
Since December 2017, he has been hosting the show “Zashkvarnye Stories” on the KLIKCLAK YouTube channel.
In 2021, Transverse voiced one of the episodes for the album Markul — Sense of Human, which was released on October 15, 2021. In the summer of the same year, the comedian starred in the film “Young Man” in the role of a counselor Pasha. The film was released in June 2022.
