Belarusian units from the Collective Peacekeeping Forces of the CSTO flew from Kazakhstan to the Minsk region. RIA Novosti writes about this with reference to the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
«Ten aircraft with peacekeepers of the CSTO of Belarus, having completed loading, flew from the Zhitygen airfield to the Minsk region», – said in the defense department.
The servicemen are returning to their homeland on board the military transport aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces.
It is specified that Russian aircraft will also deliver peacekeepers from Armenia and Tajikistan to the points of permanent deployment . Meanwhile, the military from Kyrgyzstan will march on standard equipment under its own power.
Earlier, four aircraft with Russian paratroopers who took part in the peacekeeping mission of the CSTO countries returned to Russia from Kazakhstan. It is expected that the withdrawal of peacekeepers from the republic  ;Ends January 19th.
